L.L.Bean’s classic tote bag has been a staple of the L.L.Bean line since 1944, when it was first introduced as a bag for carrying ice cubes, and has remained committed to quality ever since. It is still handmade one by one at the company’s factory in Maine, U.S.A., using the same sturdy 24 oz. canvas. The natural canvas body features contrasting colored handles. The overlap portion, which supports even heavy loads, is reinforced with double stitching of sturdy nylon threads that prevent the seams from deteriorating or tearing. With a size that can fit a magazine, it is also recommended for commuting to work or school.
