“PAY DAY””給料日”と名付けられたこのブランドは、1922年に誕生しました。

 

アメリカの大手デパートメントストアチェーンストアブランドのひとつとして、カバーオール、オーバーオールなどのワークウェアを中心に展開を開始。

トリプルステッチでラグランスリーブという特徴を持ったカバーオールなどを中心に、 当初から、ワークウエアとしての機能性をとことん追求し続け、洗練されたシンプルで機能的なデザインになっています。

 

中でも定番のカバーオール、エンジニアジャケット等のスタンダードアイテムは、古き良きアメリカのワークウエアを愛好するファンだけでなく、ファッションシーンにおいても定番アイテムとして支持されています。

 

「現在においても、変わることのない普遍的なそのコンセプトは、今も身に付けている人の魅力をそのままに表してくれる」それがPAY DAYのワークウエアです。

 

PAY DAYで40ｓの定番とされるシャンブレーシャツをベースに＜RHODOLIRION＞ではオリジナルモチーフをハンドグラフィックプリントで施したメモリアルプリントシリーズを展開。

今回はミドルレンジのコーデュロイを採用し、当時使われていたブランドネームやユニオンチケット、スラッシャーなどの付属、ステッチワークにいたるまで忠実に再現しています。

Among them, standard items such as coveralls and engineer jackets are supported not only by fans who love good old American workwear, but also as standard items in the fashion scene. PAY DAY’s workwear is “a universal concept that never changes, even today, and still expresses the charm of the wearer as it is.

Based on the chambray shirts that are considered to be PAY DAY’s 40s standard, has developed a memorial print series with hand graphic prints of original motifs.
