REINTERPRETAION
24SSでは、デンマークのデザイン文化のリサーチや、建築、デンマークの夏の風物詩の研究からインスピレーションを得て、「Reinterpretation（再解釈）」というテーマを掲げています。
デンマークのデザインによく見られるシンプルで洗練された美的フォルムを探求し続け、今シーズンはスカンジナビアン・モダニズムの主要な特徴にも焦点を当てます。
デンマークのデザインは、伝統とモダンの要素を融合させながら、機能性と自然との関わり方を優先させることが多いのが特徴的。
コペンハーゲンにあるユニークで象徴的な建築物であるグルントヴィッヒ教会は、伝統的なゴシック建築をブリック表現主義のスタイルで再解釈したもので、今回のコレクション制作の重要な参考となりました。
デンマークでは、デザインは機能性だけでなく、人とモノとの出会いを演出し、デザインを社会の発展や文化につなげるものと考えられています。
アルネ・ヤコブセンが手がけたベルビュービーチの建築物や設計は、シンプルで誠実な建築スタイルを用いることで、人々の日常生活に自然を近づけることに重点を置いています。
デンマークの文化は、古くから自然界との強い結びつきを持っています。
有機的な形やフォルムを用いることで、豊かな自然をたたえた調和のとれたデザイン言語を生み出しています。そういった思考性も今回のデザインの中心に置いています。
春から夏にかけての季節は、家族や友人と、サマーハウスやコロニヘーヴで、都会の忙しいプレッシャーから解放された生活を楽しむことができます。
このような、自然と共存するライフスタイルの背景にあるリアルな日常の過ごし方も大きなインスピレーションになり、リラックスしたウェアも提案しています。
24SSでは、「自然とのつながりを大切にする」「デザイン要素を矛盾なく融合させる」「エレガンスと優しさを優先する」という原則を考慮し、「Reinterpretation」にインスピレーションを受けたコレクションを発表します。

F/CE. 2024 S/S COLLECTION
REINTERPRETAION
24SS explores the theme ‘Reinterpretation’, inspired by our research into Danish design culture and investigation of typical Danish summer traditions.
Continuing to explore the simple, elevated aesthetic forms so commonly found in Danish design, this season we also focus on the key characteristics of Scandinavian Modernism.
Danish design forms, whilst blending elements of tradition and modernity, often prioritise functionality. A key reference for this collection is Grundtvig’s church – a unique,
symbolic structure in Copenhagen that reinterprets traditional Gothic architecture in a Brick Expressionism style.
Beyond functionality, design is considered to create a meeting point between people and objects, connecting design with social development and culture.
Arne Jacobsen’s Bellevue Beach development focused on bringing nature closer to people’s everyday life through the use of a simple, honest architectural style.
Danish culture has long had a strong connection to the natural world. The use of organic
shapes and forms create a harmonious design language that celebrates the wealth of
nature. This kind of thoughtfulness is always at the heart of F/CE.’s design.
Spring and summer seasons mean time spent with family and friends in the outdoors, at summerhouses or even ‘Kolonihave’ (communal allotments), enjoying life away from the
speed and pressures of the city. Inspired by real experiences and a lifestyle that co-exists with nature, we present a range of new designs that integrate a more relaxed feeling
into F/CE.’s standard high-quality and functional collection.
For 24SS, we present a collection inspired by ‘Reinterpretation’, considering the key principles; “valuing our connection with nature”, “fusing design elements without conflict”
and “prioritising elegance and gentleness”.
