The new Goal Zero “Lighthouse Micro Charge” is a new addition to the popular Lighthouse Micro series with a USB output port. The compact yet high-luminous (150 lumens) lantern functions as a sub-battery for a smartphone, making it an ideal camping or disaster prevention item. It can be fully charged in about 3.5 hours using the foldable USB input connector. It can also be charged from Goal Zero’s smallest solar panel, the Nomad 5, in about 3.5 hours as well. The remaining battery level can be checked with the LED indicator. The USB Type-A output port on the main unit supports 1A (max. 5W) input and can charge external devices such as smartphones, wireless earphones, and action cameras. The conventional flashlight function allows for pinpoint illumination of distant objects. In addition, the lantern section provides brightness thanks to four LEDs, providing enough light for a tent for two or three people. Furthermore, it is IPX6 waterproof rated, making it safe for outdoor use. *Compatibility with existing third-party accessories should be noted. Due to the different height and bottom diameter of the new model, some accessories may not be compatible.
