UMBRO × F/CE

イギリスのスポーツウェアを代表するブランド、UMBRO。イギリスを象徴する、フーリガンがイメージソース。ワールドカップのユニフォームに採用されたデザインをそのままに、生地は吸汗性、速乾性、さらには紫外線低減の機能を備えている。

 

1998年のフランスワールドカップから2000年のユーロにかけて大きなデザインの変化がありました。大きく主張していたネイビー、赤は影を潜め、クールでアスレチックな印象のシロベースになった点です。

特に印象的なのは、より広幅でシロ同色のアンブロテープが搭載されたアイテムに立体的な構築と、フランスデザインのトラックセットアップの組み合わせです。

カットソーはより普段使いを意識したコットンライクで吸汗、速乾性、ストレッチ性が高い素材を使用し、トラックセットアップは吸汗、速乾性の高く発色性の高い機能素材を用い現在のトレンドに沿ったパターンを用いて進化させています。

・UMBRO は1970年代よりクラブチームのウエアにアイコンとして

　アンブロの象徴であるダブルダイヤモンドジャガードテープを開発し、多くのユーザーに愛されてきました。

　今回使用しているテープは1998年よりイングランドナショナルチームで採用されたモデルになります。

　今までのテープより1cm広幅にし、ブライト糸を使用した同色で構成し、端をパイピングを施した特別なテープは、

　フットボール起源のイングランドらしい伝統と誇りから生まれた象徴になります。

UMBRO, the iconic British sportswear brand, is inspired by the iconic British hooligan. The design used for the World Cup uniforms has been retained and the fabric is sweat-absorbent, quick-drying, and even has UV-reducing features.

 

There was a major design change between the 1998 World Cup in France and the 2000 Euros. The big, assertive navy and red was overshadowed by a cool, athletic-looking white base.

Particularly impressive is the combination of three-dimensional construction and French-designed track setups on items loaded with wider, silo-themed ambro-tape.

The cut and sew is made from a cotton-like fabric that is sweat-absorbent, quick-drying and stretchy for more everyday use, while the track set-up has evolved with current trends in functional fabrics that are sweat-absorbent, quick-drying and highly colourful.

 

The fabric used is a fine lustre with excellent colour and the backside is a soft, raised fabric.
