XPAC(LIGHT-SKIN) LINE
セイルクロス(帆)のシェア世界No.1を誇るアメリカのDIMENSION-POLYANT社が新たに開発した機能素材である「Liteskin」を使用した最軽量ライン。
Liightskin は非常 に薄い素材で軽量かつ柔軟性を持ち、さらには優れた耐摩耗性をも備えており、まさにF/CEの鞄に最適な素材です。
独特の素材感がある「Liteskin」は生地ではなく「不織布」と言われる繊維を絡み合わせた「シート状」の素材。
織物よりも強度が弱いとされる不織布ですが、繊維であればどんなモノでも使用できる不織布の特性を生かし、軽量で耐久性のある原料を組み合わせ、表面には着色ポリエステル樹脂のコーティング、裏面はナイロン生地で裏打ちをし、環境に配慮されたC6 DWR加工を施すことにより耐久性撥水も維持。
軽さを失わずに強度を高める為の取り組みがされています。

The lightest line using Liteskin, a new functional material developed by DIMENSION-POLYANT, an American company with the world’s largest share of sailcloth.
Liightskin is a very thin material, lightweight and flexible, with excellent abrasion resistance, making it the perfect material for F/CE bags.
Liteskin,” which has a unique material feel, is not a fabric, but a “sheet-like” material made by intertwining fibers called “nonwoven”.
Although nonwovens are considered to be weaker in strength than textiles, the characteristics of nonwovens, which can be used for any kind of fiber, are utilized to combine lightweight and durable raw materials and maintain durability and water repellency by coating the surface with colored polyester resin, lining the back side with nylon fabric, and applying eco-friendly C6 DWR processing.
Efforts have been made to increase the strength without losing the lightness.
