The lightweight softshell material on the front chest allows it to be used not only as an inner layer, but also as a thin middle layer, or as a stand-alone garment. Newly developed NORNA_ Knit Fabrics, NORNA fabrics are made with a technology that uses blended yarns with a balanced combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibers. The hydrophilic base yarns are made of wool, which creates warmth and absorbs moisture from the body. The hydrophobic surface yarn, on the other hand, uses polyester to keep moisture away from the body. Combined with a structured knitting technique that creates air near the body, this results in faster drying and higher warmth retention.
